Q&A

Most questions regarding our community can be found here.

Who do I contact with questions or concerns?

Any questions can be sent through the Contact Us page on this website, or to either of the email addresses at yumameadows@yahoo.com or yumameadowsaz@gmail.com.

Is this the HOA for the houses and the condos/townhouses?

The homes included in The Estates at Yuma Meadows are shown in the red square on the map located on the main page of this website. For the townhouses/condos to the east of this community, please locate the HOA contact information at the pool in your neighborhood.

Where can I find more information about the HOA?

Our community pool area has a notice board in which all meeting notes and community news is posted at. We always invite people to email us for more information at yumameadows@yahoo.com or yumameadowsaz@gmail.com.

When are board meetings held?

Board meetings are typically held mid-month, every month, unless posted otherwise. All community members are welcome to attend as long as we are emailed first to notify us of any concerns that need to be discussed. Open discussion may occur at the beginning of the meeting before the closed session held by the board members. We may be emailed at yumameadows@yahoo.com or yumameadowsaz@gmail.com.

I am new to the community. How can I get a key to the pool?

When you become a community member, you will get a visit from a board member so that you may be given a copy of the CC&Rs. At that time, if the previous owner has not left a key, the key cost is $50.00. This is the replacement cost as well should the key become lost.

What do the monthly HOA fees cover?

Monthly HOA fees for our community members is $55 and pays for the following:

- Common area maintenance costs that include grass and tree trimming, pesticide control, sprinkler repairs, and supplies.

- Pool maintenance that includes servicing, supplies, restroom and area cleanup and trash pickup services.

- Office expenses that include copy fees and postage costs.

- Accounting fees, legal fees, insurance, and property taxes.

- Utilities for the pool and common areas.

How much are the HOA fees and how may I pay them?

All payment questions should be emailed to yumameadows@yahoo.com or yumameadowsaz@gmail.com.

I don't plan on using the pool or common areas. Do I still have to pay HOA fees?

Yes. When buying into an HOA community, legal documents in that process state that you are buying into a community that maintains a certain aesthetic. Maintaining the community costs a certain amount per month and HOA fees keep that aesthetic true.

Does the community have paid employees? Are board members paid?

No. The only people paid from the HOA fees are the companies contracted to perform the maintenance. Board members are not paid and work on a voluntary basis.
